Das Ostseebuch ist keine vollständige Enzyklopädie und auch keine Rundreise um die Ostsee, sondern zeigt ausgewählte Situationen und Orte an und um die Ostsee. Es zeigt was das Meer mit seiner Umgebung und den daran lebenden Menschen macht.
Da es sich um eine Zeitspanne der Fotografie von 30 Jahren handelt sind viele Aufnahmen als Geschichte(n) zu betrachten, was wiederum zeigt, dass alles im und am Meer der ständigen Veränderung unterworfen ist.

The Baltic Book is not a complete encyclopaedia or a round trip around the Baltic Sea, but shows selected situations and places on and around the Baltic Sea. It shows what the sea does with its surroundings and the people who live on it. Since it is about a period of photography of 30 years, many of the photos can be seen as story(s), which in turn shows that everything in and around the sea is subject to constant change.
